Make Plans to Attend First Friday Events Downtown!

Are you looking for ways to have some fun close-to-home, this summer and fall? If so, have you considered attending the First Fridays events in downtown Columbia, Tennessee? This is a time for music, art, and supporting local businesses, all while enjoying extra time with friends and family. So grab your loved ones and make plans to

attend the next event on August 4, 2017 in downtown Columbia!

How Can You Get Involved?

All downtown retailers are encouraged to take part, by simply keeping their business open until 8 p.m. the first Friday of every month. If you let the organizers know, they will even provide your company with a free poster with which you can advertise.

Local musicians are also encouraged to participate, by showing up with their non-amplified instruments, and playing at local storefronts and street corners. (Just ask your favorite retailer about playing there, either indoors or out.)

Other local artists and vendors are also encouraged to participate. They must simply obtain vending permits from the City of Columbia, and permission from local businesses, if they will be using their right-of-way (sidewalk) to set up and sell.
