Looking for a fun event the kids will love? Check out Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse, which will bring the beloved children’s book character to life, on-stage, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 11 and again at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017. There will also be special school performances of the story at 9 and 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday, March 10 2017. This is one of
many productions being put on by the Building Block School for the Arts in downtown Columbia, Tennessee, an organization that helps to provide a variety of arts education, and entertainment, to the surrounding community.

Building Block Arts was founded to help bring arts to all, regardless of age, gender or race. It does so through a host of events and learning opportunities throughout the year, including ongoing arts classes.
